Right I know its been a while since I did a last update, Firstly: work its been ok but recently a certain amount of shit has hit the fan, to elaborate I am charged with doing the logging and updating calls that come in from one of the wholesalers we deal with and two weeks in a row a report on the status of their calls didn't go out, now there were no calls received over those two weeks, but thats beside the point. It still should have been sent, I admit I fecked it by that but can happen.
Secondly: I do enjoy when I can be a git, now let me elaborate, was out at a going away do for Cousin of mine as he's heading down to Australia, had a decent night to be fair. got a cab back with another cousin of mine she wanted to head past my place first then back to hers, along the way we passed by the turn off that I would usually get people to take and carried on down a bit and at one of the last possible turn off towards my place I got the taxi driver to go straight through towards her place, thus getting my way and seeing my kin home safe first then myself, leading to the smug gitness Fri, Jan. 2nd, 2009, 09:05 am slightly late

Your result for The Steampunk Style Test... The Gadgeteer You are the Gadgeteer, the embodiment of steampunk technology. Ironically, many of the things that most define your style are probably too large to easily carry about, but given the opportunity you would prefer to be seen surrounded by boiler engines, gear-driven calculators, and incredible automata. Of all the steampunk fashion styles, you place the greatest emphasis on technological accessories, and you are the most likely to create elaborate gadgets that are as much a part of your outfit as your clothes. You probably have goggles, but unlike most people you consider them to be for more than decoration. Whereas most people might look odd carrying a satchel of tools around, for you they may well be essential. Above all, you remind everyone that what sets the genre apart from Victoriana is simply the level of technology. Try our other Steampunk test here. Take The Steampunk Style Test at HelloQuizzy
Today we mourn the passing of a beloved friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old she was. Since her birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape.
She will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as when to come in out of the rain, why the early bird gets the worm, life isn't always fair, and maybe it was my fault.
Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend more than you earn) and reliable parenting strategies (adults, not children are in charge). Her health began to deteriorate rapidly when well intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place.
Reports of a six -year old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouth wash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly pupil, only worsened her condition.
Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job they themselves failed to do in disciplining their unruly children. It declined even further when schools were required to get parental consent to administer Paracetamol, sun lotion or a sticky plaster to a pupil; but could not inform the parents when a pupil became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion.
Common Sense lost the will to live when the Ten Commandments became contraband; Churches became businesses; and criminals received better treatment than their victims. Common Sense took a beating when she couldn't defend herself from a burglar in her own home and the burglar sued her for assault. Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to realise that a steaming cup of coffee was hot, she spilled a little in her lap and was promptly awarded a huge settlement.
Common Sense was preceded in death by her parents. Truth and Trust; her husband Discretion; her daughter Responsibility and her son Reason. She is survived by three stepbrothers; I know My Rights, Some One Else Is To Blame, and I Am The Victim.
Not many attended her funeral because so few realised she was gone. If you still remember her pass this on. If not join the majority and do nothing. Wed, Jun. 25th, 2008, 10:01 pm meme yoinkage

whell was out for a driving lesson with my old man there a little while ago and when on the run after we heard this "whirring buzzing" noise, to which my instinct was to query what it was couldn't see anything of hand so thought no more of it(for the time being anyway), ended up practicing an emergeny stop, fine, ended up carring on and did a hill start or two, not a problem. As there was no trafic and a slight incline, then as we were carring on when going to slow down to take a turn noticed that the breaks were stiff and a fair chunk of effort to push, after I pointed this out we pulled over a little down the road and he tested it and came to the same conclusion so we diceded to head for home with him in control of the car. After we arived back went to check to see if we could see what the problem was and were able to see some fluid to which we initaly thought may be break fluid explaining the stiffness of the breaks. But after checking some that had pooled farther up the driveway realised that it was actualy oil from the engine, so we went and retraced the route and started seeing a trail of oil running all along the route since the noise. Suffised to say I won't be driving for the next few days untill thats sorted. Sat, Feb. 9th, 2008, 08:25 pm yay!

I've got a query for people, as some know I've gotten approval for a car loan of €6000 am going to sing the paperwork on tuesday and as for proof of address am going to bring with me a letter from 3V/permanent tsb, the road safety authority, the bank themselves which came with a replacement card for the one I lost during december, a fee advice form from the bank and notification for my drivers test, what I'm wondering is is that enough as I don't have any utility bills sent to the home address in my name |
